SOCIAL SECURITY AND SOCIAL PROTECTION MECHANISMS
The overall objective is to enhance the participants’ ability to facilitate the increasing demand for social protection, using a variety of mechanisms, schemes and approaches through which economic and social well-being can be attained and guaranteed. It seeks to ensure that participants acquire an in-depth understanding of the legal aspects of social security and implications for social policy. The program focuses on the concept of social security, sources of social security law, the administration of social security, scope and application of the solidarity principles, and social risks and social benefits.
