PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS MODALITIES FOR INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT

The increasing move towards PPPs across the African continent makes this course more relevant as it is now one of the key pillars to Africa’s socio-economic development. This highly practical program is built on regional and international case studies which explores the benefits and risks of PPPs and other modalities for infrastructure financing. The program further explores the techniques for the design and implementation of infrastructure projects.

For Africa to be able to compete with other giant continents like America and Europe, African professionals need to build their capacity to be able to deal with its infrastructure backlog as well as embark on future developments, as a way of not only removing the bottlenecks to economic development and social progress, but to also to reduce the infrastructure gap between Africa and the rest of the world.

This is the work of our Institute as we aim at building expertise that will spearhead our collective development objectives, strategies and implementation programs in Africa.
