PROJECT SUPPLY, CONTRACT MANAGEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
The program provides hands-on training in project contract management by critically analyzing contract strategies. These strategies include: traditional project contract strategy; alternative project contract strategies; emerging project contract strategies; standard terms for contract managers and future trends. The program will comprehensively cover project organization with due attention aid to cooperation and conflict; contract incentives and governance; contract types and strategy for project contract selection. The Program provides participants with a detailed analysis of the Project Procurement by focusing on special characteristics of project purchasing; the role of the project purchasing manager; sub-contracting; hiring and managing consultants; purchasing cycle; management of purchased materials and equipments and amendment to purchase orders. The package will also look at Bidding, with presentations on managing the pre-bid process; bidding process and post-bid review. This program targets officials from both Public and Private sectors to develop better understanding, appreciate and embark on an accelerated implementation of infrastructure and development projects.
